ARCH1101- 11th of March

Part 2&3

My favourite work throughout High School was created in my final year. I experimented with the use of glazes over paint to accentuate the robotic nature of humans. The work collectively is large in size, which I hoped would create a confronting mood. The works have found home in the boot of my car, as there nature makes them difficult to hang.

Since an early age I was stunned by the brilliance, elegance and subtleness of these towns. These dwelling stretches over the hilll ands\ become one with the rock cliff that supports them. I have always hoped to build a house that does not interrupt nature, but heightens it beauty. I love the idea of market streets, donkey riding and the un-interrupted views over the water.

Taken while I visited Africa, this photography radiates the beauty of friendship and belonging. One day while I was at the local School of St Jude, I brought my sponsor child Benjamin a mars bar. He immediately open the bar dividing it into 20 small parts and shared it among his “rafiki’s” (friends). His willingness to help make the other children happy was striking.
